Meet the Team – At HOLIXIR, we’re not just another fitness studio – we’re a powerhouse of movement and a space to learn, connect and enhance your overall wellbeing. Our instructors are at the heart of our community and come from a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise. From Personal Training to Group Fitness, rehabilitation, pre and post-natal and dance, they are passionate and highly-skilled at guiding clients across a wide range of disciplines and individual needs.



Founder of Holixir

Our incredible founder Danielle Nicks had a vision to bring a space to market that was designed by, created for and led by strong women, for women. A space where all conversations are encouraged - we share together, move together, heal together and lift each other up. People come to HOLIXIR to move with passion and seek tailored wellness support. As leading ladies, we feel honoured to continue to bring Danielle’s vision to life, every day.

My teaching style in 3 words: Fun, musical, surprising
My most memorable fitness-moment: When I use to teach PUMP 20ish years ago, my Monday night 7.30, 45 pax (including about 6 policemen form the local police station) bought a T-shirt for me with “I’m Gina Hard Faced Bitch” on the front – they threw it at me on stage. Then when I looked up they were all wearing tee-shirts saying “I survived Gina hard-faced bitch’s PUMP Class” I’ll never forget it! I smashed them that night, then we all went to the pub! Haha My go-to karaoke song: Most people prefer that I don’t sing - including my supportive friends! (Dogs wince when I sing)! My favourite quote: “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain” – Vivian Greene When I’m not working out or teaching: I’m doing my best to keep up with my 2 teenage children, trying to stay “cool”, walks with hubby and our dog, or having drinks with my girlfriends. Most memorable fitness moment: Leading a sunrise yoga class on Manly beach, surrounded by enthusiastic participants with the sound of the waves as background music . Go-to Karaoke Song: Circle of life - The Lion King. I sang this song in a karaoke in Tokyo many times! My favourtie quote: “Trade your expectations for appreciation, and your whole world changes in an instant!” - Tony Robbins. When I’m not working out or teaching: I am a busy mum of a 2-year-old girl. My most memorable fitness moment: Doing a female athlete course at CrossFit – I discovered I can deadlift 158% body weight, rope climb, box jump higher than everyone, do toes to bar and pistol squats all on my first try - the exact words from the teacher "Pilates Makes you sneaky strong" (all at 40yrs old!) My go-to karaoke song: I'm not allowed to sing in public - I'll empty the room. My favourite quote: Don’t be afraid of falling. If you fall, it just means you’re trying. When I'm not teaching/working out – I'm dancing with my kids. Or playing with them, or yelling at them for not listening, who knows anymore! Read more
